STEWART AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, NEWBURGH NY (05/01/2013)(readMedia)-- Airmen assigned to the New York Air National Guard's 105th Airlift Wing will conduct combat skills training on Saturday May 4 between 7:30 a.m. 3:00 p.m.

The Airmen will be conducting realistic combat training to test their ability to operate in a combat environment in preparation for an upcoming readiness inspection cycle.

Local residents can expect to hear loud noises to include alerts by the base Giant Voice public address system, simulated explosions, gunfire, and, possible smoke releases during the training drills.
