125 NYS High School Students Compete in Culinary and Foodservice Management Friday at Crowne Plaza in Albany

ALBANY, NY (02/04/2010)(readMedia)-- The 6th Annual New York State ProStart Culinary/Management Competion will be held this Friday at the Crowne Plaza Hotel ballroom in downtown Albany. The talents of 125 students from 15 vocational high schools around New York State will be showcased in live cooking competion and management showdowns. Students will vie for over $650,000 in scholarship funds. Fast paced, emotional action, big crowds, live cooking and students in culinary garb make this a great news story. Vocational high schools from the Capital Region have won this competition in previous years and will again be on-hand this year.
