ALBANY, NY (09/19/2011)(readMedia)-- New York State Office of General Services (OGS) Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that a public auction for 2041 South Avenue in Syracuse will be held on Wednesday, October 5. The auction will be held at the Senator John H. Hughes State Office Building, 301-345 East Washington Street, Syracuse at 12:00 p.m.-registration begins at 11:30 a.m. The minimum bid for the property is $15,000. Interested bidders will be required to present an initial deposit of $1,500 in the form of certified check or bank check in order to register. Checks should be made payable to the bidder.
