21 New York Air National Guard Airmen Return from Deployment on Friday, Feb 5 at Buffalo International Airport

BUFFALO, NY (02/04/2016)(readMedia)-- Twenty-one members of the New York Air National Guard's 107th Airlift Wing will return home from a six-month deployment to Kuwait on Friday, Feb 5 at the Buffalo International Airport. Members of the press are invited to cover their return.

WHO: Twenty-one members of the 107th Security Forces Squadron, family members, and the leadership of the 107th Airlift Wing.

WHAT: Members of the 107th Security Forces Squadron will be welcomed home by their leaders and family members after they arrive via military aircraft at the Buffalo International Airport on Friday. The Airmen are part of a group of 42 personnel who will be returning home to western New York over the next week.Security Forces Airmen are trained in infantry tactics and are attached to Air Fore Air Expeditionary Wings to provide security duties at forward air bases.The 107th Airlift Wing has a long history of serving our nation in times of conflict. Members of the Wing have been actively involved in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraq1 Freedom since the events of September 11th.
