25th Anniversary Hairball Celebration in the Iowa State Fair Grandstand

A Fair favorite for over two decades, Hairball will be turning it up, delivering an epic, pyrotechnic-packed homage to rock legends like KISS, Van Halen, Journey, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, Poison, Guns N' Roses and Queen. As the band puts it: "100% full-on, no-holds-barred, exciting, chaotic, fiery party that you have to experience to believe."

Due to the extra special nature of the 25th Anniversary Celebration, the Iowa State Fair will not host a February Hairball concert in the Jacobson Exhibition Center. Hairball will only perform in the Iowa State Fair Grandstand during the 2025 Iowa State Fair.

Children under the age of 2 do not need a Grandstand ticket. Please see concert maps for reserved and seated or standing pit area. Convenience charges apply to all tickets. Grandstand tickets do not include Fair admission.

The 2025 Iowa State Fair Iowa Lottery Grandstand Concert Series – Krause Group Stage announcements will roll out as concerts are confirmed. Two additional nights will be announced before the holidays. Stay tuned for more announcements.
