4-H Youth Awarded in Breeding Swine Show at Iowa State Fair

DES MOINES, IA (08/26/2010)(readMedia)-- Mitchell Chapman of Tipton exhibited the Grand Champion Purebred Gilt in the 4-H Breeding Swine Show Wednesday, August 18 at the 2010 Iowa State Fair. The gilt had previously been named Champion Spotted Gilt.

The Duroc gilt exhibited by Courtney Schafer of Sheldon won Reserve Champion Purebred Gilt honors.
