4-H Youth Awarded in Iowa State Fair Meat Goat Show
DES MOINES, IA (09/07/2010)(readMedia)-- Lakota Larson of Jefferson exhibited the Grand Champion Meat Goat in the 4-H Meat Goat show judged August 21, at the 2010 Iowa State Fair. The Reserve Grand Champion Meat Goat banner went to Chance Deppe of Maquoketa.
Allison Vincent of Polk City earned the Grand Champion Doe title and Cheyenne Friest of Hubbard took Reserve Grand Champion Doe.

Showmanship awards are given to 4-H exhibitors who best demonstrate their ability to present their livestock in the show ring and answer any questions the judge may ask about their animal.
