6th Annual VIEW FINDERS Exhibit at GCC Arcade Campus Center

ARCADE, NY (05/23/2012)(readMedia)-- For more than 25 years, artist Bonita Chimes has shared her unique vision through various photographic projects, and her latest work will be on display at the Arcade Campus Center of Genesee Community College. The 6th annual VIEW FINDERS exhibit will feature Ms. Chimes work from June 18 – Sept 8, 2012.

Ms. Chimes artistic endeavors include work with nature photography, photojournalism, television and commercial photography. She has been published in newspapers, magazines and books, and since 1994, Ms. Chimes has been working on a project called "Little Towns Are Not Forgotten," which is an ongoing effort to document rural towns. One of the original series can be viewed at the Arcade Library. To date, she has completed five volumes, which can be seen throughout Western New York. In addition, Ms. Chimes supplied all the photographs for the book, "Somewhere to Go on Sunday," which introduces both residents and visitors to the natural beauty of Western New York and Southern Ontario, and she is also the founder of VIEW FINDERS, a group of professional and amateur photographers with chapters in Western New York and Northern California.
