ALBANY, NY (09/19/2011)(readMedia)-- New York State Office of General Services (OGS) Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that a public auction for 836 Prospect Place in Brooklyn will be held on Thursday, October 20. The auction will be held at the Shirley A. Chisholm State Office Building at 55 Hanson Place, Brooklyn, at 11:00 a.m.-registration begins at 10:00 a.m. The minimum bid for the property is $500,000. Interested bidders will be required to present an initial deposit of $50,000 in the form of certified check or bank check in order to register. Checks should be made payable to the bidder.
