A Heart for Health Care: Cedarville Student Wins OAPA Award
For demonstrating excellence and a passion for her community, Tess Harnett, a second-year physician assistant (PA) student at Cedarville University, is one of only three students statewide to receive a 2024 General Scholarship from the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants (OAPA). Harnett will be honored at the 2024 OAPA General Conference in Westerville, Ohio, on Saturday, Sept. 28.
Originally from Kettering, Ohio, Harnett received her undergraduate degree in health and rehabilitation sciences from Ohio State University in 2020. Before enrolling at Cedarville, Harnett was a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), working in the fields of cardiac rehab, intensive care and outpatient counseling.
