Turkey Basket Giveaway

ALBANY, NY (11/21/2010)(readMedia)-- On Monday night at 6:30 p.m., at the Arbor Hill City Comunity Center behind the New Covenant Charter School on Lark Street, Pastor Charlie will give out 300 14 pound turkeys with all the fixings. Along with the turkeys, Pastor Charlie will serve up a plan to start connecting a block by block initiative throughout the city to help inform those who live in at risk areas of the resources that are available.

The owner of Wolfs 1-11 is donating 111 turkeys to commemorate their one year anniversary, augmenting support from the Albany Police Department, Albany District Attorney and the City of Albany Recreation Department. Pastor Charlie will address those coming for their turkey baskets and inform them of all the resources available to help them in their need. He will also share with them information about schools in the city that can help their children. There will be information tables set up by many of the programs set up to help those in need. Pastor Charlie will introduce a new anti bulling campagn that will help to curb the bullying in the city schools. Owner of Wolfs 1-11 and reprasentives from all departments will be present.
