Ada's Kenda Daniel receives Joe M. Turner Centennial Memorial Business Administration Endowment at East Central University

Kenda Daniel, of Ada, was the recipient of the Joe M. Turner Centennial Memorial Business Administration Endowment during East Central University's recent Harland C. Stonecipher School of Business Scholarship and Awards Banquet. The scholarship is awarded at the discretion of the Business Administration Department. Turner graduated from ECU in 1971 and became an IRS agent. He later became a special agent for the Treasury Department. The Joe Turner Wing in ECU's Chickasaw Business and Conference Center was funded by his son Kevin Turner, who is currently chief operating officer for Microsoft. Kevin also funded the scholarship in honor of his father. Pictured with Daniel is Wendell Godwin, dean of ECU's Stonecipher School of Business.
