BROWNWOOD, TX (09/25/2013)(readMedia)-- Adrianna Perez of Rowlett has been nominated for Homecoming Princess at Howard Payne University in Brownwood. Adrianna, a junior political science/pre-law major and criminal justice minor, is the daughter of Ernest and Catherine Perez.

Adrianna is a member of Delta Chi Rho, the Student Government Association, Gamma Beta Phi and the Student Activities Council. Her career aspirations include pursuing a law degree in criminal or international law before working with Innocence Project, a national non-profit organization dedicated to exonerating wrongly convicted people through the use of DNA testing.

Adrianna will be honored along with the other members of the Homecoming Court during HPU's Homecoming Convocation on Friday, October 4, at 2:00 p.m., in Mims Auditorium. She will also be featured in the Homecoming parade and football game on Saturday, October 5.
