CANTON, MO (05/10/2013)(readMedia)-- Culver-Stockton College held its annual All-Sports Awards banquet May 8 as over 300 student-athletes, administrators, coaches and friends packed the C-SC cafeteria inside the Crown Center to celebrate the academic and athletic achievements of the Wildcat athletic department during the 2012-13 season.

One of the awards given during the ceremony was the PAW Award. The PAW Award goes to one player from each athletic team and the student athletic training staff. The acronym PAW stands for passion, attitude and work ethic.

Named the PAW Award winner from men's soccer was sophomore defender D.J. Mueller of Affton, Mo. (Affton HS).

In addition, the Male and Female Senior Student-Athlete of the Year and Male and Female Athlete of the Year were awarded. All student-athletes who were selected to All-America teams, all-conference teams, HAAC player of the week or named NAIA scholar-athletes were also recognized.

Culver-Stockton is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and is a member of the 10-team Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) featuring colleges and universities in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska.
