NIAGARA FALLS, NY (09/03/2010)(readMedia)-- The United States Air Force and the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station will celebrate the 56th Anniversary performance of the "Tops in Blue" show on Saturday, September 4 at ArtPark in Lewiston at 7:30 p.m.
Tops in Blue had their television debut in 1954 on the "Ed Sullivan Show" and have performed in six Bob Hope specials as well as several NFL Super Bowls. Their performances in Niagara Falls have extended over 30 years in bringing great family entertainment to the Western New York community.
"We want to extend an invitation for the community to experience the tremendous talent of the Tops in Blue performers and thank Western New Yorkers for their continued support of their United States Air Force and the other military branches of service, said Colonel Allan Swartzmiller, 914th Airlift Wing Commander.
This year's Tops in Blue show's theme for 2010 is "We Believe" and will salute our military forces from Western New York who recently returned from active duty overseas serving the community and the nation.
The admission is free to the public with general seating. Lawn seating will also be available based on availability that evening. Reserved seating has been secured for our military troops and their families. Parking at ArtPark will be $6.
