Air National Guard training causes increased noise at Fort Drum ranges April 14-17

FORT DRUM, NY (04/17/2015)(readMedia)-- Training that caused higher than normal levels of noise at Ft. Dum's Range 48 in the vicinity of Antwerp and Fowler this week comes to an end today.

Fort Drum Range 48 was used by the Air Force's 134th Fighter Squadron from Burlington, Vermont for training during daytime-hours. The training is in preparation for future missions.

Range 48 will be used again April 21-23 by the Air Force's 104th Fighter Squadron from Warfield Air National Guard Base, Middle River, Maryland and the 134th Fighter Squadron.
