Albany County DA David Soares and Pastor Charlie Muller to kick-off ENOUGH Safe Summer Trolley Program

Anti-violence program to transport kids during summer

ALBANY, NY (07/07/2014)(readMedia)-- Albany County District Attorney David Soares and Pastor Charlie Muller of Victory Church are pleased to announce the kick-off of the ENOUGH Safe Summer Trolley program tomorrow, Tuesday July 8 at Livingston Park in Albany. District Attorney David Soares and Pastor Charlie will hold a press conference at 12:00pm in Livingston Park in Albany. Members of the ENOUGH Program as well other community leaders will be in attendance. "This is an exciting time of year for us" Pastor Charlie. "Not only will we be feeding kids in 15 different parks throughout the City, we will be transporting kids to different parks and then to Lincoln pool for swimming at the end of the day." "We just don't want to feed the kids, we want to help spread a message of anti-violence to them as well". If we can help be a positive influence to these kids, we can help change our community". I am honored to once again partner with Albany DA David Soares in this program. It is because of partners like the DA's office and others like NYSCOPBA (New York State Correctional Officers & Police Benevolent Association) that we are able to reach the kids we reach". We will also be relaunching our Gun-Buy Back Program which to date has removed over 350 illegal guns off the streets". The ENOUGH Program is a program geared toward spreading a message of anti-violence and anti-bullying. The trolley will be running from the JC Club at 63 Quail street to the Oak Street Park, to Livingston Park and Swinburne Park. The trolley will leave the JC Club at 11:30 Monday through Friday. To enroll your child in the program please visit the JC Club for additional information. For additional information, please contact Pastor Charlie at 857-0726
