Albany County Jail inmates receive Christmas Packages

ALBANY, NY (12/20/2014)(readMedia)-- One hundred and seventy inmates at Albany County Jail will receive Christmas Bags filled with Chips snacks and candy. We call it a Care package for inmates. Men and women who come out every week to the ingnite for life program put on by Victory Christian Church. The Church has had great success with this program and many of the inmates are now working and living positive lives. Children in Loudonville School painted the Christmas Bags with a personal Christmas message for inmates.

Both men and women will receive these gifts.

When:Sunday Night Dec.21st 6 to 9 P.M.

Where: Albany County Jail

Who: Ex inmates who are now out of jail reaching back to help change others.

The Christmas bags will be put together on Sunday and given out on Sunday night.
