Albany Gun Buy-Back and Enough Programs Go Oscar
Anti-Gun Campaign to air on WTEN, Saturday and Sunday Nights
ALBANY, NY (02/25/2011)(readMedia)-- Pastor Charlie Muller and Albany County District Attorney David Soares are continuing their partnership on fighting illegal gun violence in Albany County. The Slam Jam event held on Monday drew over 1,200 at-risk families, sending a strong positive message on anti-gun violence in the community.
With the viewership of the Oscars, both Pastor Charlie and David Soares have decided to go Oscar, with a commercial campaign which will air on Saturday and Sunday nights during the pre-Oscar specials. With continued success in fighting gun violence in Albany County, it is time to keep up the intensity in the efforts of reducing gun violence in the Capital District. Both see this Oscar campaign as just the beginning of many unique programs for 2011, which will continue to help make Albany a safer place.
