Alex Adden Receives Honors at Chadron State

CHADRON, NE (05/21/2010)(readMedia)-- Alexander Adden of Sidney (Sidney High School 2006) was among the graduates receiving special honors during Chadron State College's year-end exercises May 7-8.

Adden, who was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in business, graduated cum laude. The honor requires a cumulative grade-point average of 3.75 to 3.89.

Adden also was a finalist for the Platinum Eagle Award, which is considered to be the highest honor CSC bestows to its students.

Additionally, in a vote of the student body, Adden finished third runner-up to the king in the Ivy Day royalty competition.

Adden and other award recipients were given special recognition by CSC President Dr. Janie Park and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Lois Veath during the Ivy Day ceremony Friday, May 7.
