Alexander Langley Honored at Western New England University

SPRINGFIELD, MA (06/13/2012)(readMedia)-- Alexander H. Langley of Marshfield was recognized with two awards during Baccalaureate ceremonies at Western New England University. Langley received the Dean's Award, given to the graduating senior with the highest grade-point-average within the College of Engineering, and the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Award for Outstanding, given to the top student within the field of study as decided upon by the faculty.

Langley graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He is a member of the Sigma Beta Tau, Mortar Board, and Alpha Lambda Delta honor societies. While at Western New England, Langley received the Sophomore Academic Award, the Electrical and Computer Engineering Outstanding Junior Award, and the First-year Engineering Academic Achievement Award. Langley has accepted a position at General Dynamics in Pittsfield.
