Alexandra Lynch Honored by Hartwick College

Alexandra Lynch '26 of Mahopac, N.Y., was presented with two awards during the College's Honors Convocation held on April 30.

Lynch was recognized as an Andrew B. Saxton Undergraduate Fellow in Psychology. Fellows are selected by faculty in each department to honor outstanding achievement in their respective fields. They serve as student assistants within their major department and receive a tuition credit.

Additionally, Lynch was presented The Dr. Charles W. Leitzell Music Award. Established by a gift from Florence Bayreuther '39, a music education major during Dr. Leitzell's presidency at Hartwick College, the fund provides a scholarship to a senior woman music student chosen by the music faculty on the basis of need and ability who has demonstrated commitment to further music study.
