Alison Smith Receives Francis Ted Huck Award for Excellence in Education - Early Childhood

Dr. Francis T. Huck's span in the Education Department was three decades, the 60s, 70s and 80s. He taught research and statistics, but his passion was Teacher Education. He was instrumental in developing strong university-school relationships through his work with field and clinical student teaching placements. Upon his retirement, the Department established the Francis T. Huck Award in his honor, recognizing the outstanding achievement in Student Teaching.
