Alix Unwin, York College student, to present at gerontological meeting in Charlotte

YORK, PA (02/05/2013)(readMedia)-- Alix Unwin of York, a senior psychology major and gerontology minor at York College of Pennsylvania, will present on her experience residing in an assisted living facility -- Lutheran Social Services, Kelly Manor in York -- at the 34th Annual Meeting of the Southern Gerontological Society in Charlotte, N.C., in April. Her poster is titled "Transitions, Teachable Moments, and Transformations: Walking a Mile in Their Shoes." Unwin will present alongside Assistant Professor of Gerontology Kelly Niles-Yokum.
