ANNVILLE, PA (01/19/2011)(readMedia)-- Bill Condon's Kinsey (2004) was nominated for three Golden Globe awards and provides a look at the life of Alfred Kinsey, a pioneer of human sexuality research. The film, scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 6 p.m. in the Allen Theatre, is part of the Lebanon Valley College Colloquium Series on HEALTH. Tickets are $1 for non-LVC students and $3 for the general public. The film is free to LVC students.

Kinsey's 1948 publication, Sexual Behavior in the Human Male, was one of the first recorded works of science addressing sexual behavior. Kinsey stars Liam Neeson, Laura Linney, and Chris O'Donnell.

HEALTH is a year-long integrated series of guest speakers and films that highlight and inform the various factors involved in society's consideration of its health policy. It will involve discussions on the politics of health care reform, sickness, aging, fitness, mental and eating disorders, and spiritual well-being involving thinkers and speakers from the sciences, arts, and public policy.
