Allison Reynolds Awarded for Community Service
CANTON , OH (06/03/2011)(readMedia)-- Allison Reynolds of Barberton, Ohio, a junior biology major at Malone University, participated on a team receiving the 2010 Giant Eagle Community Service Award. According to a letter from Giant Eagle chairman, CEO, and president, David Shapira, "You and your team have clearly demonstrated a meaningful commitment and dedication to supporting the non-profit sector by actively participating in programs meant to enrich the communities in which we live and work.
Team members received a check for $500 presented at an awards luncheon held earlier this spring.
Malone University, a Christian university for the arts, sciences, and professions in the liberal arts tradition, affiliated with the Evangelical Friends Church, awards both undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than 100 academic programs.
