Altoona Farm Wins Banners in Iowa State Fair Cattle Show

DES MOINES, IA (09/02/2011)(readMedia)-- CT Miniature Herefords of Altoona captured Grand Champion Bull honors in the Miniature Hereford show Friday, August 19, at the 2011 Iowa State Fair. The ranch also won the Iowa Champion Female banner.

Dave Thompson of Pioneer, Ohio won the Reserve Grand Champion Bull banner.

Harmon Show Cattle of Tekamah, Neb. was awarded Grand Champion Heifer honors while KP Ranch of Tekamah, Neb. nabbed the Reserve Grand Champion Heifer banner.

The Iowa Champion Bull Banner was awarded to Hershberger Miniature Herefolds of Kalona.
