Alwyn McLeod named Centre College homecoming king

DANVILLE, KY (11/04/2010)(readMedia)-- Alwyn McLeod, a senior at Centre College in Danville, Ky., was named king during homecoming festivities on the College's campus Oct. 23. He was crowned, along with queen Christina Giles of Lexington, Ky., during halftime of Centre's football matchup with Millsaps College.
McLeod, who was selected by fellow students, is very involved in campus life at Centre. He has participated in a number of drama productions, is a member of the ultimate frisbee team and Diversity Student Union, and is a resident assistant.
McLeod is the son of Joan Brissett of Dorchester and Milton McLeod of Brooklyn, N.Y.
