Amanda Bryla Honored by Hartwick College

Amanda Bryla '26 of Endwell, N.Y., was presented with two awards during the College's Honors Convocation held on April 30.

Bryla was named a Faculty Scholar in Environment, Sustainability and Society. All scholars have excellent academic records and have demonstrated an outstanding mastery of their respective disciplines. Rising seniors are nominated by faculty in their major departments based on academic achievement, leadership and character.

Additionally, Bryla was presented the President Margaret L. Drugovich P'12 Award for Personal Courage. Established by Elizabeth Steele P'12, this award goes to a qualified rising sophomore, junior, or senior Hartwick College student or students with demonstrated financial need who has faced adversity and is persevering.
