Amanda Schaelder Receives Iliffe/McCaskey Endowed Scholarship

MILLERSVILLE, PA (06/23/2011)(readMedia)-- Amanda J. Schaedler of Lancaster, Pa. has been chosen to receive the Iliffe/McCaskey Endowed Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. This award is given to a first year independent student at Millersville University of Pennsylvania.

Schaedler will continue her studies at Millersville this fall as a part time student, majoring in English. She graduated from Brandywine Heights High School in 2003. She attended the Word of Life Bible Institute for the 2003-2004 academic year and Harrisburg Area Community College from 2006 until 2008. Schaedler was last enrolled at Millersville in the summer of 2010.

The Iliffe/McCaskey Endowed Scholarship is a non-renewable award given in the amount of $107, to be split evenly between the student's first two semesters. Preference is given to a non-traditional student.
