Amateurs and Single Participants Test Their Luck with Horseshoe Pitching

DES MOINES, IA (08/27/2024) (readMedia)-- Participants from around the country competed in the Iowa Amateurs division, Open Singles division and Open Singles evening division of the Horseshoe Pitching Tournament held Thursday, August 15, at the 2024 Iowa State Fair.

The Fair hosts both Championship and Open Class competitions every Fair day. Division winners are crowned daily. All Horseshoe Pitching competitions take place on the clay courts just east of Farm Bureau Pioneer Hall.
