SUMMERDALE, PA (12/18/2012)(readMedia)-- Amber Kreger, of Leola, Pa., and a career services associate at the Central Penn College Lancaster Center, was presented with the Rookie of the Year Award at the college's recent Years of Service and Recognition event. The new award is given to an outstanding new Central Penn employee who has significantly contributed to the college's organizational mission and has shown outstanding initiative, reliability and dedication to Central Penn. The nominees for this award must be between 6-18 months of employment at the time of nomination.

"Amber has been a tremendous addition to our career services team," says Career Services Director Steve Hassinger. "It is hard to believe that she has been with us for just 18 months when considering how much she has accomplished in that short time frame. She has expanded our relationships with all five of our stakeholders: alumni, students, faculty/staff, business/community and other post-secondary institutions. Her work ethic, professionalism and caring attitude are just a few of the qualities I most appreciate in Amber."
