Amber Ward of Bellevue receives Air Force commission

Amber Charlotte Ward of Bellevue, a member of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Reserve Officer Training Corps, received her military commission during a ceremony Aug. 15 at the Nebraska State Capitol. She was commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force.
