American Lung Association Participates in Comerica Park Run

OAK PARK MI (06/29/2011)(readMedia)-- The American Lung Association is an official charity for the upcoming Heart of Detroit Run/Walk hosted by Champions for Charity on Saturday, August 6 at Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers.

ALA supporters can join the ALA Race Team and choose from the 10k, 5k or 1 Mile run/walk while helping to raise funds to fight lung disease.

The "D" Home plate inside Comerica Park will serve as the finish line and the after party is on the concourse with the Tigers' merry-go-round and ferris wheel running!

When signing up to participate in the race, select the American Lung Association as your charity to join the team. All of the funds raised will go directly to the participant's charity of choice.
