Amy Damon Honored at Western New England University

SPRINGFIELD, MA (06/13/2012)(readMedia)-- Amy L. Damon of Agawam received the Dr. E. Louis Raverta Award for Outstanding Part-time Student in Accounting or Finance during Baccalaureate ceremonies at Western New England University. John Coulter, chair of Accounting and Finance and professor of Accounting, presented the award.
Damon graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Earlier this year, she received the Salvatore Mazzaferro Award for her academic excellence.
Damon's award is given in memory of Dr. E. Loius Raverta to a part-time student majoring in accounting or finance. Raverta, who was himself a part-time learner for all of his academic degrees, was an accounting professor at Western New England and served as department chair.
