Amy Poe selected as faculty for 2011 Washington Journalism and Media Conference
FAIRFAX, VA (07/11/2011)(readMedia)-- Amy Poe has been selected as one of six award-winning high school journalism advisers from around the country to be a faculty member for the Washington Journalism and Media Conference (WJMC) to be held at George Mason University July 10-15, 2011. Poe is a graduate of the University of Virginia. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English and Drama as well as a Masters degree in Secondary English Education. Currently Ms. Poe teaches Broadcast Journalism, Film studies, and Newspaper at McLean High School in Fairfax County, Virginia. She loves working with technology to turn creative visions into realities. She has been teaching high school for four years and looks forward to returning for her third year as a WJMC faculty adviser.
