An Evening of the Arts of Spain at Elizabethtown College
Music, art, poetry, dance and drama from the late 19th century
ELIZABETHTOWN, PA (02/03/2010)(readMedia)-- The Department of Fine and Performing Arts presents the Monday Concert series, "An Evening of the Arts of Spain," at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, in Musser Auditorium, Leffler Chapel and Performance Center, at Elizabethtown College.The event is free and open to the public.
Debra Ronning and Justin Badgerow, on piano; Sarah Daughtrey, mezzo-soprano; David Cullen and Gary Galván, on guitar; Johanna Hartman, on violin; and Ellen Eager, on cello; as well as student readers and dancers bring to Elizabethtown the music, art, poetry, dance and drama from late 19th and early 20th centuries-the time of the flowering of Spanish Nationalism.
Elizabethtown College, in southeastern Pennsylvania, is a private coed college with degrees in liberal arts, fine and performing arts, science and engineering, business, communications and education.
