Giovanazzo Earns 2010 Kate Clugston '14 Prize in Theatre

AURORA , NY (06/22/2010)(readMedia)-- Ana Giovanazzo, of Cicero, has been awarded the 2010 Wells College Kate Clugston '14 Prize in Theatre. Garland, who graduated from Wells this past May with a degree in creative writing, earned the award for her outstanding contributions to the production, "Summer of Elliot."

Awarded annually to member of the senior class who, apart from onstage performance, has made an outstanding contribution to Wells theatre by one striking achievement or through continuous dedication. Kate Clugston '14 was a playwright, poet, and English teacher who established the Department of Public Relations at Wells, serving as its director from 1944-1947.
