ANNVILLE, PA (01/09/2013)(readMedia)-- Lebanon Valley College's Chapel Concert Series will feature acoustic singer/songwriter Anthony Mossburg Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. in Miller Chapel with opening act Corey Robert, a student in his junior year at LVC. With a deep, rich, unforgettable voice, Mossburg's music contains fresh, edgy sounds true to his heart as an artist and as a person.

Tickets for non-students are $6 in advance, $10 at the door. Advance orders for groups of 10 people or more are $4 per person and church youth group tickets are $2 per student. For information or to order tickets, contact LVC's Office of Spiritual Life at 717-867-6135 or by emailing Natalia Smith at nsmith@lvc.edu.

Mossburg shares his God-given gifts by writing moving lyrics which people can really relate to and creating vibrant melodies which stick with you long after the songs are over. Since the release of his albums "Cover Me" and "The Rambler," Mossburg's songs have been taking him places. He won a talent search competition at Atlantafest 2012 performing "The Rambler" which allowed him to play on the main stage there opening up for Tobymac, Red, Trip Lee, Tedashii, KJ-52, and Royal Tailor. He placed in the top five with the same song in Nashville at the GMA Immerse Artist Competition. Mossburg won the Pointfest Talent Competition at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, where he opened for Skillet, Red, Francesca Battistelli, Royal Tailor, Jamie Grace, and more.

Most recently, he was chosen to be the lead artist on the 2013 Resolution Hope Legacy of Freedom concert tour to educate Americans and call the nation to action to stop child sex trafficking in the United States. The tour officially begins in February, but kicked off with a New Year's Eve concert including Matthew West, Britt Nicole, and Greg and Rebecca Sparks.

In addition to his work with Resolution Hope, Mossburg is actively promoting the sponsorship of orphans waiting for adoption or family preservation assistance in foreign countries as a Holt International artist. Currently, he passionately and actively promotes awareness of both of these causes, but up until he met a youth pastor in college, he never thought much about God. When he learned about Jesus and what He had done on the cross for him, he chose to change his lifestyle, accept the grace offered to him, and become a Christian. Now his life has become an adventure of unearthing truth, revealing personal struggles, celebrating successes, and helping others do the same.

Corey Robert, a junior music recording technology major at LVC, is currently the lead singer of his band "Changing Tides," which will be on tour this spring. Robert has opened for big bands such as Run Kid Run, Kingsfoil, Fooling April, and Mark DeRose and The Way Home. With his work as music producer at Rhema Studios, Robert has produced and recorded eight albums.

The Chapel Concert Series will continue with Kim Goss February 27 and A Night of Worship with He is Savior on April 24. More events sponsored by the Office of Spiritual Life are listed at http://www.lvc.edu/spiritual-life.
