April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Planned Parenthood Mohawk Hudson is raising awareness about rape, sexual assault and how you can help prevent sexual violence in your community.

Mock Rape Trial on April 14th

1 p.m. Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, Performing Arts Center

7 p.m. SUNY Cobleskill, Bouck Hall

The audience decides the fate of the accused in a Mock Rape Trial. In an interactive event that replicates the emotional proceedings of a rape trial, audience members serve as the jury with participation from local law enforcement officers, judges, prosecutors, students and members of the community. A powerful educational tool, mock rape trials offer a glimpse into the judicial system.

Take Back the Night on April 28th

7 p.m. Candlelight Vigil at SUNY Cobleskill, outside Bouck Hall

Please join us in a candlelight vigil dedicated to support those who have experienced sexual violence. A male and female speaker will share their experience, strength, and hope.
