ANNVILLE, PA (08/20/2015)(readMedia)-- For a limited time in the Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery at Lebanon Valley College, visitors can discover a link to the nation's past. The exhibition, titled "Mingled Visions: Images from 'The North American Indian' Collection" is an assortment of photographs and artifacts relating to Native Americans and their history. The photographic collection, first assembled in Iowa by the Dubuque Museum of Art, seeks to chronicle the everyday lives of individuals from a wide variety of native tribes. Edward S. Curtis took the photos beginning in 1907 as part of an effort to document the native lifestyle, a project that became his life's work.

Additionally, the exhibition will feature 30 Native American artifacts on loan from The Hershey Story, the Museum on Chocolate Avenue. Some of the featured artifacts include Skokomish baskets, Hopi pottery, and an Inupiaq parka.
