Atkins Farm Sweeps State Fair Poland China Show

DES MOINES, IA (09/14/2009)(readMedia)-- The Olson Family of Atkins captured both the Champion Gilt and Champion Boar banners in the Poland China Swine Show August 21, at the 2009 Iowa State Fair.

Reserve Champion Gilt was exhibited by Tim Dee of Baxter. Big River Polands of Bellevue took the Reserve Champion Boar and Premier Exhibitor honors.

The Premier Exhibitor award is presented to the exhibitor earning the highest point total in individual breeding classes of competition.

Animals are divided according to farrowing date based on the other animals entered in the competition.
