ALBANY, NY (01/21/2013)(readMedia)-- Eric J. Stock of Larchmont is the new chair of the 524-member Antitrust Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.

Stock is a partner at Hogan Lovells, a Manhattan-based law firm. He concentrates his practice on antitrust and complex commercial litigation matters, with a focus on antitrust litigation, government investigations and commercial disputes. He frequently represents clients involved in parallel civil and governmental antitrust proceedings, and has particular expertise handling matters at the intersection of the antitrust and intellectual property laws.

A 13-year member of the State Bar, Stock recently served as chair-elect of the Antitrust Law Section. He was a member of the Task Force on Lawyer Advertising. He is co-chair of the Corporate Counseling Committee of the Antitrust Law Section of the American Bar Association.

Stock graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his law degree magna cum laude from Harvard Law School.

The 76,000-member New York State Bar Association is the largest voluntary state bar association in the nation. It was founded in 1876.
