Audrey Jenkins named Panhellenic Scholar of the Month at Centre College

DANVILLE, KY (01/23/2013)(readMedia)-- Audrey Jenkins of Floyd has been named Centre College's Panhellenic Scholar of the Month. She is a member of the Epsilon Eta chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta.
The Scholar of the Month program recognizes sorority women who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements and involvement in both their Greek community and the Centre community as a whole.
In addition to her activities with Kappa Alpha Theta, Jenkins is a staff writer for the Cento student newspaper and is a writing consultant at the Centre College Writing Center. She is also a Best Buddies mentor, an ESL tutor, a singer with the campus group Common Time, a piano student, resident assistant, and Student Judiciary member.
She is the incoming Panhellenic Vice President of Enrichment, and has served as Theta's service chair and executive assistant.
Jenkins is the daughter of Mark and Theresa Jenkins of of Floyd, formerly of Sioux City, and is a graduate of Hinton High School.
Centre College, founded in 1819, is a nationally ranked liberal arts college in Danville, Ky. Centre hosted its second Vice Presidential Debate on 10.11.12, and remains the smallest college in the smallest town ever to host a general election debate.
