Aurora's Calvin Robinson named NACC Men's Outdoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week

AURORA, IL (04/15/2014)(readMedia)-- Aurora University sophomore Calvin Robinson (Aurora, Ill./West Aurora H.S.) was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Outdoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week.

Robinson helped lead the Spartans to a meet victory at the Benedictine University Eagle Invitational last weekend, winning the 1,500-meter run and breaking a six-year old AU record with the time of 4:02.52.

Next action for the Spartan men's track and field team comes on Thursday, April 17 for the high jumpers and pole vaulters at Concordia University Chicago. The whole team will compete on Friday, April 18 at Millikin University in Decatur, Ill. with a meet time of 11:00 a.m.
