BREAKING: Residents Can Stay at Lucerne Pending Appeal

Lawyer for three Lucerne men won a temporary request to stay

NEW YORK, NY (12/03/2020) (readMedia)-- Just now, a judge granted the men of the Lucerne an interim stay order until the court can hear their appeal. Michael Hiller, the lawyer for three of the residents of Lucerne, filed an appeal after Judge Debra James' ruled that the court cannot block the city's plans to move the men of the Lucerne downtown.

Hiller, da Homeless Hero, and others will hold a zoom press call to demand the Mayor drop the transfer and allow the men to stay at the Lucerne where they have on site services, jobs through Goddard Riverside, and a wealth of community support.
