BVU President to Hold Press Conference Announcing Plan to Elevate Community Engagement
STORM LAKE, IA (02/19/2018) (readMedia)-- Buena Vista University's (BVU) President Joshua D. Merchant, Ph.D., will hold a press conference on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 2-3 p.m. to discuss the University's new Civic Action Plan to encourage and enhance community engagement. Dr. Ashley Farmer-Hanson, who is the director of civic engagement at BVU and is leading the initiative, will also share remarks and provide additional information about the Civic Action Plan. The event will take place in the Estelle Siebens Science Center Rotunda on the BVU campus.
