BW's Cancian Named 2024 National Collegiate Rugby All-American for Third Time

Baldwin Wallace Women's Rugby student-athlete, Molly Cancian of Brunswick has been named a 2024 National Collegiate Rugby All-American making this her third All-American honor of her career. Cancian, a first year Leadership in Higher Education Graduate Student holding internships in BW's LGBTQ+ Services and LaunchNET Entrepreneurship offices is a leader for the Yellow Jackets on and off the pitch. Best known for her speed and agility, Cancian has strong defensive skills in tackling and rucking. The Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jacets team finished as the Ohio Valley Women's Collegiate Rugby Conference Champions for the fourth year in a row.

National Collegiate Rugby made selections from a pool of over 7,000 players and 285 clubs across the nation, to identify the top college rugby players representing the 2024 All-Americans with 69 players from 40 schools making up three divisional teams recieving All-American honors. The three lists include 23-women teams from each Division. Cancian is among 23 National Collegiate Rugby Division III student-athletes selected to the All-American class of 2024 based on her rugby performance.
