BW students spend Thanksgiving break volunteering in Detroit

Ten BW students sacrificed turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie with loved ones to dedicate their Thanksgiving break to service on an alternative break trip focused on hunger and homelessness in Detroit. The BW Alternative Break service program gives students the opportunity to spend their breaks helping others. Each experience is led by a BW student with support from a University faculty or staff adviser.
