Backus Native Taylor Sheley Scores 1,000th Point for Bethel University
SAINT PAUL, MN (12/09/2011)(readMedia)-- Bethel University women's basketball senior Taylor Sheley of Backus, Minn., needed just four points to enter the esteemed Bethel University 1,000-point club. The four-year contributor delivered 19 points in the Royals 60-52 victory over Macalester College on December 3.
The night belonged to Sheley in more than one way. On top of being awarded with her 1,000th point, Sheley led all scorers with 19 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one block.
